Club terms

We support a true and fair club policy, which is why we like to publish all terms and conditions using plain and simple English.


At Dorking and Robertsbridge our squad sessions run for a minimum of 46 weeks per year. Fees for a year are divided by 12 to give equal monthly payments by standing order. Each year there is a small club membership fee along with British Gymnastics membership that is invoiced in September and due for payment by 1st October
At other venues sessions follow school term dates and invoices are issued half termly in advance.

Cancellation of Classes

There may be occasions where we need to cancel classes however we will notify you as soon as possible in advance. You will be notified of a replacement class or whether this was a scheduled cancellation.


In the event of short term absence ie Holiday/Illness, full payment is still required. In the event of long term absence, please speak to the club manager to discuss options. Any requests to swap sessions will be at the discretion of the Head Coach and will only be granted in exceptional cirumstances. All holiday absence must be emailed to the Head Coach providing as much notice as possible.

At Gatwick Flyers, Coach Development is as equally as important as the gymnasts themselves. All gymnasts will be coached according to their ability and skills.
As part of our safe, effective, child friendly coaching, supporting and handling (physical contact) is used across all ages and abilities. Whilst every effort is made to uphold these guidelines, coaches can use appropriate discretion to ensure the safety of the gymnasts.


Many sessions will include an element of body preparation (conditioning) to prepare the gymnasts for the more advanced skills and to prevent injuries.

On occassions the class organisation/structure may change in the event of staff absences etc.


All gymnasts are required to wear appropriate clothing – shorts or tracksuit bottoms/leggings and t-shirts/sweatshirts. For competitive members, we recommend leotard and shorts. Socks must be worn by all gymnasts. For those training DMT, we encourage the gymnasts to purchase the correct DMT footwear (available through the club).


For competitions, girls are required to wear the current club leotard and boys are required to wear club unitard and shorts or trampoline trousers. Plain white socks or trampoline shoes must be worn. For those competing in DMT – the correct DMT footwear is required.

Complaints Procedure

In the event that you feel you need to complain about a particular session; if possible please speak to the coach in charge of the session. Please save your questions until the end of the session. There may be a justified reason for a sequence of events.

Leaving Gatwick Flyers

In the unlikely event that you wish to leave Gatwick Flyers, you must provide either 1 months paid notice, or 1 months payment in lieu.
